Sarah Warner
Sarah received her MLIS from Pratt Institute and that launched her into as varied a career as one could imagine for an information professional. She managed all corporate library operations and its staffing for Wang Laboratories, a fast-paced, international computer company. She was Manager of Content Licensing for Amulet, an internet start-up, where she worked with librarians and information professionals struggling to use the latest internet technologies. That position also brought her into frequent contact with content providers. She was Serials Librarian at the Engineering Societies Library. She was an elected member of the Board of Trustees of Chelmsford Public Library in Massachusetts, and member of the search committee for the selection of the library's new Director. Highly respected in the New York library community, she was an obvious choice for her current position as a recruiter of information professionals and staffing consultant for Wontawk, a position she’s held since 1998.
Throughout her career Sarah has contributed to the profession as an active member and leader of the Special Libraries Association, the Archons of Colophon, and New York Staffing Association. She is a member of METRO, AALL, LLAGNY, and ARMA.
Geneva Sanicharra
Geneva wields a masterful hand in creating and updating the Wontawk website and troubleshooting any and all technical problems in our Wontawk local network. For these gifts she is greatly treasured by our staff. Her other areas of responsibility are administrative and include managing the weekly payroll which involves generating weekly paychecks for those Wontawk employees who are filling temporary positions on site for Wontawk’s clients.
Geneva’s strong business acumen and administrative and technical capabilities have led to an ever widening role for her at Wontawk since she joined the firm three years ago, one that will undoubtedly expand further as she works on completing her bachelor’s degree studies.
